since my macbook is intel core 2 , i cant install mountain lion, i couldnt find mac os x lion.

If it's compatible, make a backup of your data and call Apple to purchase Lion > http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 That's because OS X Lion isn't sold in the App Store anymore since the OS X Mountain Lion release.

In that case, you are out of luck. Check in eBay or Amazon if you can buy the OS X Lion Thumb Drive to install OS X Lion on your computer

That's piracy, and if you do that, you won't be able to reinstall OS X if it gets corrupted

Are you sure youjust do not want to make an international call to Apple? There is no physical shipping involved in a download, so Apple will probably deal with you if you just call. Or they can advise on the procedure they want to follow.
Don't do that since the Mac OS X version is tied to an AppleID and you will not own the license so cannot update or get any help from Apple.
Ralph, the problem is that Apple gives redeem codes in order to download OS X Lion, and those codes are limited to the country from where you purchase OS X Lion. If the OP purchases OS X Lion from an international call, maybe he/she won't be able to download OS X Lion

this is really bad from apple to remove lion from app store purchases. totally bad move.
