Mainstage + Novation ReMOTE ZeRO SL Issues

Hello,

I've had the ReMOTE SL for a while now and have been using it occasionally to write automation in Logic with no troubles.

I recently bought MainStage and hoped to use the controller with it.

When in Layout mode and attempting to assign knobs and buttons all **** breaks loose.

The MIDI signals are constantly flickering between pitch shift, modulation wheel (neither of which are on the the controller) and CC messages.

The buttons responded once perfectly and were assigned and since then none of them respond at all.

The knobs occasionally work but rarely. The faders seem to be fine.

If anyone can help me figure out what is going on and how to fix this I would be hugely appreciative.
