My MacBook Pro 15 inch Retina screen has a few dead pixles that have emerged.

Yes you should unless you want to live with dead pixels on a very expensive computer.
Also you should buy the Applecare extended warranty, if you haven't already, before the one year standard warranty runs out. You can't buy it after that and if that retina needs repairs out of warranty it will be VERY Expensive to fix.
I had the same problem with mine. I brought it in to the Apple store and they replaced mine and explained what the problem was. It's actually very common:
The rMBP is so thin that the screen shuts to the base with almost no space between the screen and the base. What happens is that if there's, a grain of sand for example, it can break through the screen and cause a dead pixel. It's a design issue that's insanely difficult to prevent since a screen cover could make it worse by making even less space between the display and base.
You will notice that all of the dead pixels are located where your keyboard is not. So all of the pixels are in the upper-horizontal of the screen. Since that will have the highest chance of having a piece of hard grains.
Hope your problem is what I'm describing.
Did the Apple store replace your macbook under warranty? I have the same problem but I only have the possibility to contact an Apple service partner. They said that this is not covered by warranty.
I would go to another apple store because they should definitely replace this. It's neglective engineering. The warranty claims that it will solve the damage if the computer got damaged under NORMAL USE. If your computer looks clean and hasn't been treated very roughly, then it would be unfair for them not to replace the screen.
Did you go to an Apple Store or an Apple Partner? At the phone support the Apple employee was quite sceptical about my problem and told me that he never heard about any of theese problems. He mentioned that the rubber around the display should preserve against that.
I went to an Apple Store and they replaced it. When I brought it to them, they said that there has been frequent reports of this problem at there store. You should be confident that it is an engineering problem because MANY people have this problem and it is Apple's fault that you can't use this EXPENSIVE product in normal conditions. If you don't place your whole trust in me (which I don't blame you), you can look up the problem on the web and they should all have a consistency.
Part of being a consumer is giving the provider accountibility. When you pay them, you deserve respect.
Good luck.
