Try the following:

1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your

User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.

2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your

User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

User uploaded file

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.

NOTE : If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

I got the answer , the last version Update IPHOTO 8.1.2 actually there have a bulk

on MAC OS X 10.6.8. I followed some advise and deleted application IPHOTO

and tried to reload but unforturnately I could not find my CD. So I reloaded with

the one I have in my old backup IPHOTO 6. Follow by another problemes , Iphoto

library version too high cannot access. Have to once again delete and create

new Iphoto library !!!! But still a mess ....find no way to upgrade Iphoto to newer

version even 7 or 8 .

iphoto 9 just forget about it ...cannot do on my version 10.6.8 leopard.

Cannot neither upgrade to Mountain Lion ...answer is not possible on this computor.
