lost ringtone

I purchased a ringtone from the itunes store. It downloaded fine, set my ringtone and used it for a few days. Now it is gone. I checked my purchased folder and it is not there, but when I try to purchase it again it says I already purchased it. Where is it and how can I find it? Thank you
