did some testing. it's an issue with gmail. i deleted my gmail account from my phone. mail app works fine with just my yahoo and exchange acounts. gmail app doesn't work either.
Yep, deleted gmail and it works fine. My Gmail account app is working, however.
What happens if you create a new Gmail account in Mail?
I have Gmail and have had no crashing issues with 6.1.3.
i tried deleting my gmail acount and adding it again as a new account and it still crashed. i restored from a backup and now everything is working fine.

Why I should delete my Gmail to have an access to iOS mail app maybe better to delete stupid guys who write such updates in Apple company.
There's something strange going on, as I have a Gmail account and have had absolutely zero issues accessing my mailbox via iOS 6.1.3's Mail.app.
I wonder what the common denominator is, as clearly the problem isn't universal.
I think its only for iphone 4s have friends with 4 and 5 and its working fine but not of my friends with 4s is working ok
i dont have a gmail account, i use hotmail and my phone is still crashing, only since i did the update. also am not getting reception since the update but wifi is working fine
as i said in my previous post, i restored my phone from a backup and now gmail and the mail app are working fine.
is it official ? do i really need to restore my iphone (meaning delete everything and hope the icloude restore will work and nothing will be missed? )
very disappointed, what a horrible update. Mail app keeps crashing because of google account, when disabled/deleted, it doesn't crash. To make things worse, the gmail app also keeps crashing.
reminds me when microsoft did the same with netscape a long time ago and got sued for monopoly.
apple better watch out because this is rubbish!
