When I am traveling across time zones, if I want to keep a 4PM meeting continuing to read 4PM on my iphone calendar do I turn Time zone support "on" or "off"?

What time zone is the meeting in? That is the time you want to set the meeting up for so when you travel to a different time zone the time changes automatically for you.
I want to keep all the my appointments at the same time regardless of the time zone. So if a meeting is at 4pm I want to keep it at 4pm regardless of the time zone I am in.
But lets say you set a meeting at 4pm in pacific time zone which is 7pm Eastern. When you travel to the east coast to that meeting your phone will automatically change it from 4pm to 7pm for you so you won't miss it. Otherwise it will tell you the meeting is at 4pm and you will be super early. That is a feature of the phone. You can turn it off under Settings>General>Date and time and turn off set automatically but that is going to confuse you more when you travel between time zones.
If I'm traveling from Seattle to New York and I have a 4pm meeting in NY I set the time for the meeting at 4PM when I set up the meeting in Seattle. When I travel to NY I don't want the time on the calendar on my phone to change. How do I accomplish that?

In your case, based on your postings, turn Time Zone support off.
