My iMac Early 2008 won't start up
So here's the background info:
- Last night, I updated my iMac to 10.8.3. I also had to update iBoostUp, but since I downloaded it on my UK account(Long story short- I used to live in the UK, now I Live in Ireland), I just deleted iBoostUp and thought of downloading it the next day, because I was tired.
- this morning, I downloaded iBoostUp and thought of doing a quick clean.
- Before I did, I looked through my Startup Items, and unticked hide Apple launch items.
- One of the Startup Items I saw was Tcdd, which is used to startup Refog Personal Monitor, which I Deleted (With AppCleaner) few months ago.
- I deleted the LaunchAgent+ The Coreservice framework for the app(com.apple.tcdd.plist)
- When I did that, I continued with the Quick Clean and my Finder coulldn't empty the trash, and it was frozen.
- Tried to relaunch Finder, but now it couldn't open after 5 minutes. Then it opened.
- iBoostUp froze while cleaning the last of its' System Cache.
- Finder Froze-Again 😟
- I took out the plug and tried to start it up again. It couldn't get past the Apple Logo.
Can it get past Normal Boots? No.
Can it get past Safe Boots? No.
Can it Boot up The Install Disk(10.5.3)? No.
But it can get to Recovery Mode.
I've verified the Disk, no problems. Disk Permissions-repaired.
I can't even Re-install the OS (ML) because I got it my friend who had it booted on a thumb drive.
