My vintage 2007 MBP has a removable battery - long ago fried. Need a laptop to take to a photo workshop - can this fried battery be replaced?

Check on Amazon or some of the other on-line sources, Apple does not sell components to consumers.

it's also possible to buy the battery for 15-inch MacBooks Pro with removable batteries, and for some MacBooks Apple hasn't stopped selling batteries for old computers at the moment
