I do not have the "menu" option on the ipad. The only  option is to email it or to open it in other Apps, which is of no help to me.

I have Googled it and to no avail.

Sorry Irene, what are you referring to?

    What menu option?

Is this to do with another post? If so why are you not replying there?

We can't follow the conversation if you switch posts, there are thousands of posts in this forum.

    Hi Peter,

I'm sorry. I don't know where to find the menu option on Pages and on my iPad. Where do go?

I have been working with Pages for a long time. I thought I knew everything about Pages and how it works, but I do not.

Ok. I saved my document as a PDF or Word. Those options are available, but now, when I try to upload my resume to a prospective employer, the only option that I get is to choose pictures from the camera.

    Can I be helped?

Where did you start this conversation? It wasn't here.

To send a Pages document in an eMail on the iPad open Pages and the document you wish to send

click on the Spanner > Share & Print > Email Document > Choose the format to send > Fill in the address etc > Send

    Peter,

I'm new to this forum. This dilemma is the same as the original question posed.

I wasn't making sense. Now I know what I need help with (I think).

I am applying for a job, online. After filling in the questionnaire, I am now ready to upload my resume. When I do so, it only gives the the option of the camera. How do I solve it? How do I access my files?

    Irene,

If you have an option to send a PDF by email, try that.

Where did you start this question? It was obviously in another post.

What does the WebDAV have to do with anything we are talking about?

If you are applying for a job online, I presume you are in Safari?

I also presume there is somewhere in the web page that is giving you options to add attachments.

The thing is I don't know what you are looking at and you are not telling me. Have a look about you. Am I anywhere in the room? I've had a good look around here and can't find either you or what it is you are looking at.

Which may explain why I am struggling to give you an answer to your questions.

Shall we start with you supplying an address of the online job application page so I can see what you see?

    Peter,

The iOS iWork Share and Print menu may give us a clue. This one's for Numbers, but I imagine Pages would be the same:

I gave those instructions above (I have Pages on my iPod Touch), but Irene seems to be ignoring them or talking about something else, and not saying exactly what that is.

    Hi Peter,

Numbers and Pages have the same options.

My problem is not saving it or emailing it. It is uploading a file, that I am having trouble with. I have finally called the place of my prospective employer and was told by their IT, that the software they use is not compatibe with what I am using.

Forget it. Thank you for your many attempts at helping me.

I'll put money on that being wrong.

Most I.T. departments are clueless about anything outside their own setups.

I am sure there is a way round the problem, if we only knew what that was. That being the "elephant", or maybe a warthog or a wildebeast or maybe even an axolotl, in the other room (somewhere).

We still don't know what that is or where.

    Irene,

Were you given a Server Address, Username and Password for the WebDAV account?

    Very funny.

Go to www.UCMerced.edu and click on "jobs" and follow the prompts. Then the axolotl will be in plain sight. Will this help?
