Mar 19, 2013 3:04 PM in response to SinnedTby Demo,Reboot your iPad and restart your printer. See if that fixes it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Mar 19, 2013 3:05 PM in response to SinnedTby John Galt,This is usually solved by restarting your router. Power it down and let it rest a moment, then power it back up again. Do the same with the printer.
Your laptops are unrelated to AirPrint; printing with them only verifies the printer itself is operational.

Mar 19, 2013 3:09 PM in response to Demoby SinnedT,Thanks, Demo. I'll give it a shot. Rebooting is the only thing I haven't tried yet.
And John, I'll restart router too. Thanks for the help.
More later.

Mar 19, 2013 5:35 PM in response to SinnedTby SinnedT,Thanks, but no resolve. Did it all. Rebooted, restarted, and still no printers found for airprint.
All devices are talking to the network, emails, internet sites, etc. Full power bars on wifi and no airprint printers still not found. This must be an Apple Fix deal. Why won't they respond to all the posts about this?

Mar 19, 2013 5:48 PM in response to SinnedTby Demo,I've done 2 of the incremental upgrades including the one today to iOS 6.1.3, and I have never lost connection to my HP AirPrint printer so what you might perceive as an Apple fix deal, more than likely isn't because there is probably some solution for this and it just haven't been found for you yet.
Did you look to see if there might be a firmware update for your printer on the Canon website? If one is available, that might help.
If this problem just occurred after you updated the iOS and I assume that you did in fact just update the iOS form the way that your post reads, have you tried restoring from a backup? Device settings are stored in the backup, so theoretically if you backed up before you updated and the printer worked then, restoring from the backup might get the printer working with the iPad again.

Mar 19, 2013 5:55 PM in response to SinnedTby timothy.a.clifton,is there any updates for the printer? or any errors? like low ink or low paper or jams?

Mar 19, 2013 6:06 PM in response to timothy.a.cliftonby SinnedT,Printer firmware is current and there are no errors present on printer.

Mar 19, 2013 6:50 PM in response to SinnedTby timothy.a.clifton,Have you tried the steps here? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356?viewlocale=en_US if not give that a try, if still not working i would call Apple Care.

Mar 19, 2013 6:57 PM in response to timothy.a.cliftonby SinnedT,Have done all this a couple of times! I did call Apple Care and was told that it's not a problem! He took me through 40 minutes of changes and upgrading to the new 6.1.3 and still NO AIRPRINT PRINTERS FOUND.
There are many voices with this problem. How can this be that some are printing and many are not?
I checked with Canon and firmware is current. They say it's Apple's issue and Apple says it's not a problem that they know about. I'm losing faith in Apple and it's policies of late. Thanks for all of the ideas and taking the time to listen.

Mar 19, 2013 6:58 PM in response to SinnedTby deggie,Have you tried this on your iPad Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
-
Mar 19, 2013 7:10 PM in response to deggieby SinnedT,Yes, one of the attempts that the Apple Care Tech gave me was reseting network and still nothing.
I'm very confused as to why it worked in IOS 5 and stopped in IOS 6 ???!!!
And some say that they have no issues after upgrading! So what about all of us that ARE having this issue?
What do we do? Maybe the Magic 8 Ball can help!
Thanks again for the info.

Mar 20, 2013 2:00 PM in response to SinnedTby timothy.a.clifton,Last thing I can think off would be a router issue with iOS 6 what's your router manufacture and model? I have seen some really weird issues with d link, net gear routers that required downgrading or upgrading their firmware. Look forward to hearing from you.
