blue pixels on new retina display please help!!!!!

I've had my mac book pro retina display for around 6 months. Recently i've started to notice a few blue pixels, however now there is a full line going across my screen. I have the apple care protection plan, but am obviously still in warranty... does anyone know what i should do and if apple will replace the screen or give me a new device. Would the best thing to do is just make a genius appointment? Im really panicking as i cant be without my laptop as i am an English student hitting exam and deadline period. Really appreciate your help. Didn't think id have this problem when paying 2 grand for a laptop withing 6 months of buying it ! ps... im very carefull with my laptop it hardly leaves my desk so have never dropped or banged it etc
