iTunes Crashes, Cannot repair

iTunes has begun to "stop working" and close down. It happens regularly in the day. While it works it works well. I thought to simply "repair" it. I downloaded the most recent iTunes and tried to repain. When I run the installer and click on "repair" I am asked if I want to completely uninstall iTunes. When I clock on "remove", I am asked if I want to completely uninstall iTunes.

How do I repair iTunes to stop it from crashing when the installer doesn't allow me to repair or reinstall?

Do I have to completely uninstall iTunes and reinstall?

Thanks,

Chris

Click "Yes". A repair install automatically reinstalls iTunes after the uninstall.
