Question about imac ram cl
Tomorrow I get my new imac and plan to install more ram. Does anyone know what CL rating the supplied ram is? I don't want to pay extra for a faster cl ram than what is currently in them.

Buy your ram from Crucial or OWC and you'll get the correct ram. You're taking a chance on other brands, they're not always ecpxactly what they advertise.
You do not need to actually worry about that if you buy ram from Mac specialists, the two best are those Mike has recommended: OWC and Crucual. I fully agree with Mike, you have to buy from Mac specialists as PC ram may say it meets the specs but is not close enough for Macs. Take Mike's advice and go to OWC or Crucial.
I plan to buy crucial at the local Microcenter store. I wasn't sure if there were going to be different clock speeds to consider.
Your user guide will give you the specs on the ram so all you need do is match the specs. And be sure the MicroCenter staff know this is for a Mac.
Thanks, everyone.
