I don't want all the applications from my old computer. How can I delete them from the migration list?

I have a new iMac and have bought and installed software. I don't want to migrate the same (older) applications from my old computer. How can I choose only certain applications from my old computer for migration?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)

I'd recommend you not migrate any applications, then reinstall the ones you want from scratch using the media on which they came.
