iChat is not allowing me to log in even after I reset my password

Once in awhile I'll open my iChat and it will ask me to log in and when I do it won't accept my password. So I reset the password and try again and it continues to say it isn't recognized. Why does this happen on occasion/at all? Thanks!

HI,

If this is an Apple ID that happens to be valid with AIM you need to keep the password to 16 characters or Less.

If it is an AIM or AIM Valid Name go to iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts > Server settings and untick the SSL option.

I take it having changed the password as the place the ID or name is registered you have changed it in iChat ?
