I cannot do updates. Nor, can I purchase apps. I get CANOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE.

Same here ...... is there any problem with the new software coz the problem only started after I updated my iPhone 5 with this new software
I also have the same issue but i was able to find a work around it.
go to SETTINGS - PRIVACY - LOCATION SERVICES and switch it OFF.
I had the same issue, before and after the recent update. I could not update any of my apps. What fixed the issue for me was resetting my iPhone. I just turned it off manually, and turned it back on a few moments later, and my apps updated just fine!
