Under full battery and connected to a charger, my MacBook Pro acts like it is recovering from an empty battery

Under full battery and connected to a charger, my MacBook Pro acts like it is recovering from an empty battery

In other workds, it starts up with that gray screen (not the one with the apple sign during normal booting up) and recovers my open windows... why?

Can i stop this?

I did not specify this before, but this generally happens when I leave the computer closed for a while and then open the screen...
