I just bought the MB572Z VGA adapter to connect my MacBook Air to a laptop projector. The projector didn't recognize it, but it did see the back-up PC. The projector did recognize an iPad connected to it, though, so I know it will recognize an Apple.

I was trying to use this adapter for a laptop projector, but the projector didn't recognize it. The project did recognize a colleague's laptop and another's iPad. Do I have to change any settings or "function" keys to activate the display port?
