Can someone tell me what is the app Apple shows off right after they say the word "Rise" in the TV ad "Brilliant"?

I believe that's a photo. After looking at the ad, & knowing that iPhoto is featured in it, that's my conclusion.

I think you are right. iPhoto can put a weather icon in the pictures. Seems that it is iPhoto then.
