Nov 2, 2014 11:22 AM in response to bfewellby RoxPigs,On my iPad the problem was that the clock date/time was not being set automatically, and so was actually set to a date in 2017. Setting it back to the correct time and date instantly restored access to iTunes.

Nov 27, 2014 10:42 PM in response to bfewellby Nigel.Denbigh,I just fixed this issue for a work colleague.
I went to Settings > App Store and then signed their apple ID out. I then tried the app store again and we could now see the app store as normal.
I restarted the device holding down the power and home button for 10 seconds, after restarting I went back to Settings > App Store, signed his apple ID back in and he could see the app store as normal.

Dec 5, 2014 9:18 AM in response to bfewellby kerrychc777,Going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Settings first. Then go back to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Allow your iPad to reboot, then connect to your wifi again and reopen the App Store. It should prompt you to login and it should work this time.

Dec 6, 2014 9:51 PM in response to Nigel.Denbighby krazykiwi69,I tried this and it worked. Not sure the hard reset was necessary but I think the signing out of iTunes/app store and signing back in was what fixed it. The hard reset doesn't change anything just the same.
THanks

Dec 9, 2014 5:14 AM in response to krazykiwi69by Kalsta,Yep, simply signing out and back into the iTunes and App Store with my Apple ID worked for me too. I tried a lot of the other suggestions before this that didn't work for me.

Dec 13, 2014 9:50 AM in response to bfewellby onizukax ,I tried soft resets, re-configuring the time, and erasing the iPad entirely - but nothing worked.
My solution was to reset the country which the app store was configured to. I switched mine back to the USA store. Afterwards, log out of the app store on your iPad via Settings and then log in again. I got a system message saying that my apple ID only works for the USA store and it transferred me to the app store immediately. Worked right away.

Jan 8, 2015 1:04 AM in response to onizukaxby simonfrompeasmarsh,I was looking for answers to this problem and found this forum.I have tried all of the "fixes" mentioned above and I still cannot connect! Is changing the date really an answer to the problem?
Given that the OP was written in March 2013 and this is still an on going problem I am yet again very disappointed with Apple.Surely they are aware of the problem?
Has anyone ever had an actual human response to a question about this?
I assume Apple are losing money due to potential customers not being able to access their App Store? does this not bother anyone at Apple?
Does Google Play have the same problem because I am seriously considering an Android system real soon! I have been a loyal customer for a long time and things like this are very very annoying.
If someone from Apple stumbles across this forum could they perhaps provide an answer to all of the questions above mine?
Thank you very much.
