Q: When i try to enter my password on startup with my wireless keyboard the characters do not appear unless i hold each button down for a few seconds. This makes it hard to type and get my password correct. The keyboard operates fine once i am in. Help!
My wireless keyboard is fully charged and is paired to my mac mini. However, on startup i have to press the keys for a couple seconds for the characters to appear. This makes it difficult to enter my password. When i get pass that the keyboard work fine. Help.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
