Why won't my .mov Quick Time file play in Quick Time?

I recorded my information from a video camera onto a a 16 GB SDHC card. I put it my Mac, and clicked on the file to name it, and a notification came up that said "The document “003_0223_01.MOV” could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands." BUT it said it was a Quick Time movie file and I'm confused!! HELP I need to turn my log in for my project by tomorrow!

Hi kaitycannon,

Sounds like your file got corrupted somehow. I would suggest you to use Treasured to easily diagnose it and repair it. By the way which format your clip was recorded? H264?
