Hi all!
I really don't like the new Facebook version, my ipad updated automatically. I want to go back to Facebook v5.4.1 as its presentation was better for me
If any one can explain me how I can do so...

I'm not even sure you can roll back. I seem to recall someone saying if you restore from a backup that was pre-update that it'll put the old version of the app back on. But I've never tried it. And if the update was a bit ago, you may not even have a backup with the old version, not to mention that you could lose anything else changed between then and now.
There really isn't support for rolling back.
That's why I suggested a different app. Since picking and choosing what version you want isn't an easy thing to do (or really possible) the only real option for folks is to stop using hte apps they don't like and find one they like better.

the update was just 15 min ago, so not so long and no data to loose... but I don"t know where I have to look for the backup
Folks may use any app they want but if an update is done automatically, it is not their fault if they don"t like the new version... I use this application because I like it, but the update wasn't my choice! And if the only way is to stop using applications we don't like, then I don't understand your advice to install a third party app...

I Have found the way to go back to my previous and favorite Facebook version...
I post it in case someone else would need it...
It is possible to roll back with icloud back up.
1st step : restore the device's content
When reloading, select "restore with icloud back up" and then choose the right backup date.
That is all.

Probably an easier thing to do would be to find a third party app that you like better and use that instead of the facebook app.
Thank you but It won"t help me, I prefer the previous facebook. I don"t understand how another app would help.
