When I try to play a video on youtube or Netflix/Hulu, the video picture doesn't show. I can hear the sound and everything but I just see a blank screen. I can only see it if I maximize the video which is hard when using Hulu because it doesn't show on the bottom and I have to guess where the "maximize screen" icon is located. How can I fix this?

Do you have the Silverlight plugin installed? It's ancient and outdated but I know that NetFlix, for one, still uses it...
And installing Adobe Flash Player should allow you to see YouTube content.

I have silverlight and adobe flash player. I can see the video on full screen, but not when it isn't maximized.
Are you using Safari? Have you tried another broswer such as Firefox or Chrome?
