Q: Updated to 6.1.3, now no apps will load

Also I noticed that even though it holds 8GB it's only saying it has 6.4GB capacity?? I have tried restoring and everything.

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.3

That is correct, an 8 GB iPod only has about 6.4 GB available to the users. The difference is taken up by:
- the iOS itself
- How GB are advertised and how actually used. See:

Thanks for that information. Could updating to the ipod have caused the apps issue?

When I try to install an app, it acts like it's working (the blue bar moves across the app) and looks likes it's almost done, but then it pops up saying that it could not be installed at this time. I've tried several different ones and it does this everytime.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App stores and sign out and sign back in
- Download the apps into your iTunes library
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
and then sync

I just tried that, and have tried it a few times. It installed two apps then will not do any more. Gives the same message as before.

If you can et some apps that indicates a problem on Apple's side. I would just wait and try later.

Well another day has passed and still not much luck. I have been able to install some apps like Pinterest and ABC News but no Facebook or games for my kids. So weird! Any suggestions?

STILL having issues. Installs some apps but nothing as far as games. Is this an Apple issue???
