Why doesn't my volume airplay to tv along with picture?

I'm watching March Madness basektball at NCAA.com and the volume won't airplay over to the TV. Other websites do it just fine.

Any suggestions to remedy the problem?

AppleTV 2, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
