After ios 6.1.3 update phone will not connect to home wi-fi "unable to join the network". Other devices are not affected, lap tops etc. so wi-fi network fine.

After receiving email response from, I sent to a tech friend, was able to resolve issue by rebooting Xfinity Router. Did not think to do that as laptop & other devices were working fine. Iphones working fine now!

I am having the same issue also! We have 2 iPhone 4S's and an iPad. They are all unable to connect to our home Wifi, but the laptop is working just fine. This has been a problem for about a week, so I updated my phone to the new update  6.1.3 and I still cannot connect. The Wifi has been turned off and it's greyed out, so I can't even try to reconnect.

    Same issue with iPad (3)

After update to 6.1.3 Wifi no longer lists any available connections so I cannot connect.

I have an iPhone 4S also but I think I will wait for now

What a joke Apple is turning out to be ... I am fast coming round to moving to Android when my contract runs out for the phone (in 2 months)

So your ipad cannot connect wifi means it becomes dummy ipad??? Nobody of Apple Techical Proffesional come out to solve it, so shame on their brand!!

After I updated my ipad mini to the 6.1.3 I've been having the same exact problem. My wifi bar is full but when i try to go on the internet on my ipad it says I can't connect to the server. Safari can't connect to the server. Apple needs to fix this problem ASAP!

I had to upgrade the firmware on my netgear router.

I have the same problem after update my iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.3. I can not turn on wifi? I have try to reboot it in different ways but still have the same problem :(

Apple have introduced a serious issue in 6.1.3 and all my iOS devices are affected except for one on which I have not accepted the update. Absolutely nothing else has changed in my home. And searching the issue shows many many many people are suddenly hitting this issue with 6.1.3.

Come on apple admit the issue and fix it or let us go back to 6.1.2 which works just fine.

For the helpful people here talking about rebooting and upgrading routers, I'm sorry to say that whilst your suggestions are valid generally for isolated issues, it is utterly UNTRUE for anyone to claim that 6.1.3 is not the culprit.

    Hi

I have also faced same kind of problem after upgrading my Iphone 3gs to ios6.1.3 ,

earlier wifi connection which i was using on my Iphone 3gs, was using Security Type WPA2, which was shared from my laptop via "Microsoft virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter", was working perfectly till ios6.1.2, but when i have upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios6.1.3, my iphone 3gs became unable to join wifi,

Today I have created "adhoc network"  on my laptop using "Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n"(default wifi adapter of my laptop), and kept Security Type "WEP", and found my wifi working fine with my iphone 3gs,

So if someone using LAN internet on their laptop, they can share their LAN internet to use on their ios devices, via creating an 'adhoc network',

How to create an 'Adhoc Network',
choose Security Type : WEP (compatible with ios6.1.3)
