5th generation alarm clock dock question

Hi all, my young daughter just turned 13 and we got her a 5th generation iPod touch. She wants to spend some other birthday money on a home docking station, like an iHome. I've been searching on places like Amazon and so....am I correct that there are few or no docking stations just for the Lightning connector?

If so, is the only solution using some sort of adaptor? I've seen various suggestions, but they also seem to have detractors. Now, these months later since the 5th generation lightning connector has been out, is there a "best solution"?

The Bose Sounddock III has a lightning connector but it is the only one I have seen so far. Take her to an Apple Store and look at the models there and test them with the Lightning adaptor. Or have her find a dock she likes then contact the manufacturer and ask the if the adapter is compatible.

The adapter does work with my B&W Zeppelin.

Thank you deggie. Do you know about any alarm/speaker systems? I mean, I looked at the two you suggested, the Bose and the Zeppelin and they both looked like just speakers. Both look like wonderful speakers. I haven't been to the Apple store in a very long time...they have alarm systems (like the iHome group)?

Yes, the Apple Store carries some alarm clock systems to try out. I don't use the alarm clock type, I just use the clock on my iDevice to set an alarm and wake me to music.
