Q: iOS 6.1.3 battery drainage

Last night I updated my iPhone 4S to a iOS 6.1.3 and now it drains my battery in extremely fast manner. As I started signing in to write this question from my iPhone I already lost 13% of my battery. I never had a problem with a battery and ive been using iphones since the first one. i miss my morning class because of it because my alarm clock didn't because my phone was dead. Please fix it or have no choice but buy Samsung GS4

I tried the same thing and its a bit better now.I disabled 80% of all notifictions and put off a lot of other thingsI completely drained out the battery and will charge it to 100% and see if that helps.

turning off all notifications and apps - it's definitelly not the way to solve the problem. You can save some % of your battery usage but ut will not help in general. The drain remains.

I wonder why there are no representatives of Apple? Why keep silent?
When will soon be corrected firmware 6.1.2 or turn sign for rollback.

Apple where are you? Keeping silent is not a policy for such a brand.  : (

I have the same 6.1.2/3 battery drain issue, and I have done everything, including a full factory reset, and still have the problem.  The other night, I charged my iPhone fully before going to bed, killed all open apps -- and when I woke up my phone was at 22%.  I have no push e-mail, no reminders set, etc.

My issues first started with the Exchange bug, but when I did the workaround (don't respond to meeting requests), my battery usage went back to normal.  With 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 (the Exchange "fix"), my battery usage is now consistently bad.

It's possible that my battery just decided to go bad, the day that 6.1.2 came out -- just not the most likely explanation...

Make a backup of the phone. Restore the phone as New. Do not add any apps. Do not create any email accounts. Do not sync the phone. Charge to 100%. Watch the battery life. If it drops at a significant rate (more than 1% per hour) with nothing installed you most likely have a hardware problem. If this resolves the battery drain restore the phone from your backup, and test again. If the battery problem returns you have corrupt data in your backup.

iphone 4s won't charge after updated to ios 6.1.3

Different adapters and usbs have been tried, and now power has been drained.

Apple support says there is nothing they can do about it, and they surggested me to pay 199 for a new iphone.

Is there anybody having the same problem?
