I shut down my Mac mini and it will not turn on.

I had to shut down my Mac mini after reconnecting my wireless router due to no wireless problem. Now my Mac mini will not turn on. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can turn it on?

Mac mini (Mid 2011), iOS 6.1.3, Using "Linkseys" wireless router.

Nothing. No light, and no signal display on screen. I pushed the power button countless times wondering if I pushed the button wrong, too much, or not enough. Crazy huh?
