You can change the name name of an Aperture Library in the Finder:

  • Quit Aperture.
  • Select the Aperture Library in a Finder window.
  • Press the key combination ⌘I to open the "Get Info" panel, click the disclosure triangel beside the "Name and Extension" brick, and change the name.
  • Then select the renamed library again and double click it to open it in Aperture. This will point Aperture to the renamed library.

Good luck!
