Wireless speakers constantly losing connection, help!

Hi, i really am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but it seems like the most appropriate

I have Bang & Olfusen Beoplay A8 speakers, which i connect to through my wi-fi modem and itunes.

Problem is, it can't go 1 minute without dropping connection, which makes for a jarring and frustrating listening experience

I have no idea where the problem lies,or what i can do to test.

Even after restarting the modem by switching on & off i have the problem, and not having any other downloads occcuring while listening, the problem persists.

The modem is in the living room along with my laptop & speakers, all three are within 5 metres of each other

I am running itunes 11 (regrettably) and lion 10.7.5 on a macbook pro 2.2GHz intel i7 with 8GB ram

iTunes 11-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

any help anyone?

i have found a solution from someone who had the same issues with my exact speakers, and it says "It was an issue with my Airplay wireless network settings. It was set to "WAP Transitional" and I changed it to "WAP Personal" which sorted it out."

where are the airplay wireless network settings? i've looked in sys prefs audio/wifi/other - nothing. I've looked on my iphone even.
