No advanced options for user accounts?

Ok so I am really confused.I am running 10.5.8 on a 2X1.8ghz G5. I am trying to install 2 drives to replace 1 which is beginning to fail. Here is my dilemma, when I open sys pref. >accounts I do not have an advanced options option to locate my home folder. WHY?? I want to store the OS and applications on a 60Gb ssd and the data (home folder) on a 500Gb HD, this should be easy!!!
