I got a ticket for a book, which suggested I 'refer to section 13 of the “iBookstore Formatting Guidelines'
can anyone tell me whereabouts I find this? I've looked in the usual places and can't seem to find it.

Should be listed on the main page of iTC, I think.
The Formatting Guidelines are off the Front Page of ITC under Deliver Your Content and a link to the right of Featured Resources. To navigate, click the ITC logo at the top of page, then click Deliver Your Content option. Look on the right side of the page of Feature Resources.

Open your iTunes Connect select Deliver your Content. On that page is the formatting guide and lower down tne page the asset guide plus other must have PDfs.
Where do I find the 'iBookstore Formatting Guidelines'?
