I'm a mail.app + gmail user (iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S). Ocassionally, I noticed that mail.app is displaying email in my inbox that is clearly spam. When I log into the gmail web interface to investigate, the email in question is NOT in my inbox, but the spam folder as expected.
Why is mail.app displaying this in my inbox?
