Are there instructions on how to create playlists in the new version of the podcast app somewhere. Cannot see how to do it. And don't see any real changes for the old version.

Just click your On-the-go playlist in the podcapp and hit the Add button at the top. Did you even try to figure it out? 😉
I do not see an on- the-go button. If there is one it certainly shoukdn't take several days to find.
Download the latest version of the Podcast app for your iphone/ipad. Open the Podcast app. Click the "MY STATIONS" button at the bottom. You will see a list of stations. My list looked like this:
- On-The-Go
- iTunes Playlists
- Most Recent
- All Unplayed
Click On-The-Go. Then click the Add button at the top of the screen.

I am all set. Since I was not interested in creating a station I did not click on that link.
