icloud backup notice is frozen on my screen.

The screen states:

iCloud Backup

This iPad has not been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to wifi. There is an OK button, but it will not work. It is just frozen and I can't use any part of the ipad. Ideas to clear the notice and proceed with a backup and/or use the ipad?

Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

Had this same problem. Apple service contract (conveniently) ran out just a couple of days before. I've only had the device just over 3 months. Tech support tried desperately to sell me a $199 service contract. When I told the tech I would find an answer on line, he told me my time should be worth more than my money. Was very rude and insistent. I finally hung up on him and found my answer and fixed the problem in a couple of minutes (less time than when I was on hold!) Thanks, randers 4.
