That's fine and good until you get to Adobe's site and the "Download Now" button does not even EXIST! THERE IS NO "DOWNLOAD NOW" BUTTON!

I may be wrong that sanjampet's link is meant only for Firefox. It may be showing Firefox for me because that's what I'm using (my user agent.) In any case, it is possible to change the browser from that link.
If you have Ghostery operating - disable it & refresh the page.
I suggested that in the first of this kind I saw, since I personally encountered that with Ghostery. The OP said no Ghostery, so I've just been posting the other link.

Ghostery also blocked at least one custom search box (google based) on other site(s)
I don't know what they've been up to at Ghostery, but after updating lately it's become somewhat of a PITA. I"ve had it for years and never encountered so many issues with it before. Seems to be blocking just too much stuff.
