I have just downloaded iPhoto '11 and now I cannot copy from my library to a flash drive - it won't let me. I was previously able to do this and find this very frustrating - what should I do?

I have just downloaded iPhoto'11 to my iMac OS X version 10.7.5 - and now I cannot copy photos from my iPhoto library to a usb stick to share with a friend. Is there something I should do - previously, before the download, there was no problem? thanks.

How are you trying to copy from your library? Are you exporting or dragging from the iPhoto window to the flash drive?

Or are you trying to copy the iPhoto library to the flashdrive?

To put photos on a flash drive select them in iPhoto, export (file menu ==> export) and select the export options you want then export to a desktop foldr - mount the Flash drive and using the finder drag the folder from the desktop to the flash drive
