Q: Disable private browsing for children
Can anyone tell me how to disable private browsing in Safari? I do not see it on the parental controls section. I do not want to check logs after the fact and with more than one child to monitor and who is using the computer for homework it is not practicle/possible to list individual sites. I have seen an instruction to download Xcode and disable it using the developer's code -- is there any simpler solution?
MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Private browsing wouldn't prevent your kids from visiting any website. It would prevent their browsing history from being recorded in the history file, but they can easily delete that history anyway. However, if for reasons of your own you want to disable it, the only approved way is to push out a profile from an OS X Server. I'm not even sure that would work. I am sure it would be pointless.
