2011 iMac owners, have you created a fusion drive?

I've been considering fusing together my Apple CTO SSD+HDD combo iMac I got early last year.

Was curious if any of the 2011 iMac owners have done this and what were the best steps to follow.

I have a 2012 Mac Mini base model I created a 120GB SSD+1TB Fusion, well the Mini did it automatically and its a great fast machine.

Is using the disk utility that came with the MacMini the way to go? or would any disk utility work?

The OWC Blog is sort of confusing and seems alittle misguided or just not worded properly.

Any experience? good? bad?
