trackpad is wont respond on left side?

okay last night i spilled a little bit of water on the trackpad, i wiped it off and it was fine. nothing seemed out of the ordinary i closed it and went to sleep. but when i went to use it today the left side of the trackpad was unresponsive. the cursor moves around but wont click? if that makes sense? like i can move it around on the left side but it just wont click? the only part that will click is the bottom right corner. is there anyway i can fix it or should i take it to the apple store? does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to get it fixed? its a macbook pro and i got in 2010
