No you can't upload the newest version because it is an old ipod

Sure, Just update iTunes on the computer.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Ones I plug my Ipod into my cumputer a alert come up and says "I need 64 bit ITunes to use this ipod."

Try:

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

If problem see:

Trouble installing iTunes or QuickTime for Windows
