Unlocking muted tracks, Garage band to Logic

If I reopen a Garage band project in Logic and there is a muted track, how do I unlock it so it will play? The files and notes there and they appear in the score and piano roll but they will not produce audio in playback.

First, take a look at your Track Header on the left. If you see the "M" button highlighted in blue, click on that to unmute the entire track.

Next, if the region on that track is grayed out, click on the region and press "M" on your keyboard to unmute the track.

To summarize, entire tracks can be muted/unmuted via the "M" button on the Track Header, and individual regions can be muted/unmuted by selecting a region and pressing "M" on your keyboard.
