That is the question, my iphone 4s have 2 weeks of life, stranger no?  I left the android because wanted a phone safer, more complete and well-targeted market, I was 2 years with my motorola atrix and never had any problems, I am very sad about this situation, I always had a lot of friends with iPhone's, iPad's, iPod's and always found pretty cool, I thought this was the time gave buy an iphone, I am very disappointed with is my first experience, apple anymore.

I have the same problem. Everything was fine in my 4s until 6.1.3 update. Then the wifi and bluetooth stopped working. Apple has to fix this with a new update. There are hundreds of 4s holders with the same problem. This is unacceptable.

Hey guys, I solved this problem for me. I tested it only on one router Zyxel Keenetic Lite, but I hope, it will work everywhere. I've:

    - changed channel to 10 (in router web-interface settings)

    - wifi standart to 802.11gn (in router web-interface settings)

    - rebooted router

    - wiped ipad network settings.

    And it works!

Glad my solution worked for someone else and on different kit to mine too. Only confirms my suspicion that 613 is overly sensitive to interference or gets confused on wifi channels.

ok.. soo i replied yesterday that a trick of resetting my router and network settings at the same time helped.. YA not so much.. it kept cutting out..I would have service for a few hours.. then i would lose it and have to reset everything again.. A SOLUTION for me has been to get on the phone with my local internet provider.. which happens to be comcast.. NO COST for the call they ran a diagnostic test on my modem and everything and found that my modem keep switching the "BRIDGE MODE" which is when you have the providers modem hooked up say to a "Wireless Router" this allows everything in to bridge over and pass through.. but I have no router.. just my comcast modem.. so he thinks the reason it keeps shutting off is its literally getting confused on where to go.. he fixed the issue and my wifi was back on in no time I also didnt have to set it all back up again like i have been.. it just popped on..... hasnt been off either..SOOO A SOLUTION for some people might be to call your provider and ask for a diagnostic test on your modem.. it didnt cost me anything and so far the only real solution I have... Best of luck to you all.. Hope this works for good cuz man.. resetting everything every few hours was really irrtating..

I just got the greyed out WiFi yesterday, tried everything in the world that i could think of and no dice. After reading about all these problems I just said screw it and sent an email to Tim Cook. Will i get a response? probably not, but he should hear what people are having issues with. I can't be without my phone, I don't want to have almost $600 drafted from my account as a pending transaction, and I dont want to drive over 120 miles to the nearest Apple Store.

I just took mine (only had to drive 97 miles) to the apple store yesterday and the good news is that as long as the phone is less than 1 year old, they will simply give you a new one.  I didn't want them placing a hold on my credit card to mail it.  Fortunately, my phone only had 58 days left on the warranty so no problems and since the new phones on the trade get a 90 day warranty, so i'm good through july 3 instead of june 2.  If your phone has more than 90 days left however, your going to have to suck it up, because the genius guy told me that doesn't matter how long you had left on your 1 year warranty, you only get it for 90 days.  Anyway one full day and no issues, but again...I did not do the upgrade to .3 on this phone...i'm going to wait until I'm closer to the 90 day warranty so I can still get another phone when I try the upgrade.  The easy answer is to suck it up and make the drive on a day off then you won't be out a phone as they appear to be well aware of the problem and will make the swap without much question.

Either the guy told you wrong or you misunderstood. The warranty on a replacement phone is 90 days or the remaining part of your 1 year warranty on the original phone, whichever is longer.

DON'T RESTORE YOUR PHONE! It's will not resolve anything. I have just received a new iPhone 4S from apple them selves because my old 4s was playing up. After updating to 6.1.3 all wifi settings are corrupt and not excess-able. I have restarted, reset and factory restored several times and still no luck. We just have to be patient and wait for the bug to be fixed I'm afraid.. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I may have to just suck it up and drive. I got my 4S in July of last year when i signed up for ATT so I know I have at least until the end of June. ***** though, I use wifi for everything that I can so i don't waste my data plan (although it IS 10GB shared and we never come close to that) It just ***** that this issue isn't being addressed yet, one would think Apple would find this issue and resolve it immediately.
