I am after updating my version of iTunes. Now I can't see my iPhone when I log into iTunes. HELP

I updated my version of iTunes on my iPhone 4S earlier on today and now I cannot view it on my PC. Is this a flaw with this version of iTunes?

That doesn't make much sense. Do you mean you updated the iOS on your iPhone or iTunes on your computer?What versions of each are running now?
