why media key is not working in iTunes

hello all i have been frustrated problem

because when i go in itunes then f7 suppose to be previous song or movie etc and f8 should be pause and f9 skip forward but it not working? but i check VLC software program movie and check music too and it WORKING but except itunes?

so HELP please..

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
