My iPad mini freeze and screen blank but backlite still on after restore my IPad
iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.3
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
i`ve tried so many times by holding sleep and home button but the problems still remain.
Always freeze and turn to blank screen..when charging the ipad also freeze.
Pls help..i suspect that is hardware issue...I bought from online Apple Store,how to claim warranty in Malaysia?
Suggest you connect to iTune and restore again.
This happens to me too. My iPad mini has the same issue, freeze, screen blank but backlite remain on. And I have one more thing, the body becomes warm, seems this device inself is running something behind.
With these syndromes, my iPad mini cannot be hard reset, nor DFU. the iTunes on my Mac just would detect the device.

Hi enriching, I am facing the same problem with my ipad mini... how did you resolve it in the end? what was the issue?
I went to Apple repair center and they fixed it.
