I was wondering if Apple still offered the Color exam certification? I know they stopped the FCP one and moved to FCP X so i wasn't sure if they stopped all the programs that were linked to FCP exams or not?

Color, Final Cut Pro Color
In Boston, level one and level two FCP7 certification exams are still being given, although I don't see anything listed for Color. I'd call one of the authorized training centers in your area.

Thanks Russ. I'm from Northern Ireland so I guess finding a training centre in the UK somewhere will be a bonus.
Color was discontinued about two years ago. I doubt Apple is still teaching it, much less certifying it. Might fine third party training though...
Really? Thought was probably the case to be honest. Is that to do with final cut pro x do you think?
Apple ceased selling and supporting the whole Final Cut Suite when x was introduced.
They have no interest in legacy programs. In fact, I wonder when the whole fcs forum will drop off the apple support radar.

That would be a shame for the (many) who continue to use the suite and need the resource.
For that matter, the FCS forum still has more posts than any of the other pro apps forums… or iLife or iWork apps.

Is a total shame if they do, yea. From what I've read and seen, FCPx seems to have quite a lot of problems. I don't think i'd move to FCP X just yet, especially after spending all that time learning to use FCP and the extra programs that came with it.
